About
I am a board-certified nurse practitioner and owner of ReNew You Med Spa. I received my associate’s degree in nursing from Southwest Virginia Community College, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Master’s degree in nursing from King University. I began my career in nursing as a way to care for and help others in the same way my family was cared for during my brother’s cancer diagnosis and mother’s heart disease. I have a wide range of experience in the medical field including addiction medicine, family medicine, pain management, pediatrics, telemedicine, and urgent care. I have always had a desire and passion for making those around me feel good about themselves. Realizing the impact that beauty and wellness can have on a person’s life, I completed extensive training in medical aesthetics at the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. I completed 140 hours of training in:
- Medical directing
- Laser Therapy
- Advanced injectables for botox, Dysport and dermal fillers
- Microneedling with and without PRP
- PRP injections
- Female rejuvenation
- Kybella
- Weight loss
- Non-surgical body contouring
- Sclerotherapy
Medical aesthetics gives me the ability to focus my efforts on making those around me feel more beautiful and confident.
